If you love frangipani, pops of yellow and beautiful blossoms you will adore this beach themed wedding!
I arrived at the Old Clarendon Inn just a little before the ceremony, to guests chatting in the sunshine and a group of kids taking turns to run up and down the red carpet. The bridal party was full of very cute kids, even a recent addition, Lani’s newborn nephew. Despite the previous crazy weather in Adelaide, we had a stunning summer day which perfectly matched the bright yellow beach themed bridesmaid’s dresses. Lani arrived in an awesome 1957 buttercup yellow Chevrolet, I seriously love vintage cars so was very excited by the choice. The ceremony included a handfasting, where the couples hands were tied together with different coloured ribbons by two family members – a lovely symbol of their union. There was a lot of laughter throughout the ceremony and I don’t think Ang, mother of the bride, stopped smiling all day!
The couple had some photos at the Inn’s gardens and then we headed to the reserve next door just as the sun was going down for some lovely sun kissed moments. It was a beautiful, bright and happy wedding, a pleasure to capture.
